Change of Commissioner

Post by Kyle » Sun Sep 28, 2014 10:51 pm

Although it's a bit early, I'd like to get the wheels turning on this discussion to ensure as little downtime between seasons as possible.

As some of you probably already know, I plan to relinquish the "Commissioner" position at the conclusion of Season Two. So far, the only party who has expressed to me an interest in the job is Teroh, who intends on turning over ownership of the Mar Sara franchise to someone else at season's end, anyway. I think Teroh's a fine candidate to take the job in my stead, but as the league is ultimately a community-driven organization, I don't want to make any decisions without at least allowing the community a chance to offer input.

Please feel free to post any questions, concerns, votes of confidence, etc, you may have in this thread. If you'd like to submit your own name for commissioner consideration, you may do that as well. If you're uncomfortable sharing any of your thoughts on this subject in a public forum, you may contact me directly, via PM, in-game, or on TeamSpeak.

I think Teroh would be a good fit, but I don't know him too well.

+1 for Teroh

He's proven he's willing to put work in for the community, and he's an okay guy.

I think Teroh is probly the best candidate, he has shown time and time again that he's willing to put in the hours to be a commissioner. His casting however, now THAT could use some improvement :P

I also nominate teroh for commissioner for sexiest shirtless caster.

I'd also would like to see a more organized layout for the community to help out the commissioners. Im sure a lot of people are willing to devote 10 mins of their time to help. I dislike having few individuals doing most of the work week to week. If there's an easier way to spread the workload, it would just make the jobs more approachable if it is more of a group effort.
