If you can't understand why we can't release the evidence then that's your bad.

As I mentioned in the other thread (where my post was deleted, not sure why), this is a really serious accusation of a crime. I hope the evidence (if it exists) will be submitted to Mets' ISP at the very least.

I'm still very skeptical about whether any of the LMs or the experts they brought in were qualified to identify an attack. If an attack did happen it's a shame someone takes this so seriously. Either way it sucks that the winning team has to replay the series because of circumstances out of their control

I think this is very much the wrong call unless there is 100% certainty, and even then it might have been better to let it go.

Yea it doesn't suck for the team that lost due to circumstances out of their control, only to the winning team.

You're right, it does suck for you guys that Mets couldn't play. But at least there are things that could have helped on your end like drafting for more depth. The winning team, unless someone from there was responsible for the alleged DDoS, did everything they could.

It's a tough call. On the one hand, if management does nothing, it sets a precedent that you can ddos the other team's players without consequence. On the other hand, if management forces a rematch, it sets a precedent that anyone who gets ddos'd (or can produce false evidence of getting ddos'd) gets a rematch. ZHL management simply isn't equipped to handle this situation, and no matter what's done there's going to be some upset players.

This is a terrible argument. It would give any team free rein to ddos/maliciously attack another team's player. So what if we "drafted more depth"? There still shouldn't be a precedent of allowing a team to take out the other team's top players just because they have a 7th rounder who can substitute for them. What you are arguing for would compromise the integrity of the entire league and allow nonstop hacking.
